e2v's technology is at the core of innovation, we bring science and engineering to life in a commercial market place. Our longstanding Engineering Apprenticeship is embedded within the culture of our business and we truly believe in developing our next generation of Technicians and Engineers.
Our award winning Engineering Apprenticeship brings to life the systems and products that lie at the core of our rapidly evolving business. The Engineering Apprenticeship is a five year programme which gives Apprentices the opportunity to experience a range of placements before specialising within one of our business divisions. Alongside this we will sponsor qualifications including HNC, HND and BEng to ensure apprentices have the underpinning knowledge to be successful in their future careers. At the end of the programme Engineering Apprentices will be ready to take on an Engineer role within the business.
Responsibilities within the engineering team include designing high quality solutions, and providing expert advice to the group that will allow the progression and continuation of a product throughout its life cycle. The engineers work alongside technicians and product managers to liaise with suppliers and customers, and ensure that the final solution meets the specification.
There will be high academic demands for our Engineering Apprentices and as such we require them to join us with a strong academic background. Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), at grade C or above with Maths and English Language at grade B and achieved (or be predicted to achieve in 2017) a minimum of 3 A-Levels, including Maths and Chemistry / Physics / Engineering at grade C, BTEC Level 3 in Engineering at Distinction level or equivalent.
