Leeds Traction and Rolling Stock Maintenance Apprentice
Siemens Rail is looking to recruit future engineers for its 36 month rolling stock maintenance apprenticeship programme.

Siemens Rail Systems is the leading passenger train maintainer in the UK, looking after over 1600 vehicles for customers like Heathrow Express, London Midland, and South-West Trains.
In the workplace, you will be part of a busy production team preparing trains for service, completing routine maintenance, and carrying-out fault finding. You will also visit other depots, departments, customers, and suppliers nationally, and take part in team-building days, volunteering events, and learner forums.
As an apprentice, you will receive first-rate training and tuition from Siemens, the National Training Academy for Rail (NTAR), and York College.Requirements and prospects Desired skills

5 GCSEs A-C (or equivalents) 2 of them English Language and MathsFuture prospects You will earn a full-time salary through-out the programme and be eligible for yearly pay review. You will also have the opportunity to visit other depots, departments, customers, and suppliers nationally, socialise with learners from across the country, and take part in team-building activities, community engagement events, and learner voice forums. If you're looking to take your professional development further, the programme is EngTech-aligned, and there is the opportunity to take further engineering qualifications in your final year.
