Working in a Technical role is about ensuring all our food is manufactured to strict food hygiene standards and our customers are supplied with first-class quality products for their consumers. Your role will consist of ensuring new products are developed safely and maintaining methods for the business using the most effective approach.

You will be provided with full support and training in order to kick start your career into becoming a future leader of food technology in your local community. This technical role focuses on the key business areas of food safety and product quality and will involve an apprentice working alongside other departments to ensure that all manufacturing is done correctly, safely and to a high standard of quality. You will attain this understanding partly through gaining a nationally recognized qualification as well as through work-based experience. GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and MathsFuture prospects This role will provide a generous introduction to the specific area of interest and allow candidates to understand the framework of the function and future opportunities. Towards the end of the programme if there is a suitable opportunity available, at the right level, then candidates will be encouraged to apply internally for this. Their first-hand proven experience will support any application. Things to consider The environment can be very cold (can be as low as 5°C) and when busy will entail being inside for long periods of time. The business is busy and demanding and has high expectations of its team.
