You will be supported over a 3 year period where you will gain a sought after accounting qualification and establish a solid foundation for a successful career in Accounting. The AAT role and qualification is mainly focused on preparing accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and accounts reporting. Whereas the ATT role and qualification focuses on Tax Compliance and is initially based in our personal Tax Compliance team. Following completion of the ATT you may be able to internally apply to become a Chartered Tax Advisor where you will complete further qualifications and training. Successful completion of the full AAT qualification (up to Level 4) allows you to internally apply for our ACA Graduate / Trainee Chartered Accountant programme. This will take you through a further 3 years of training and learning, resulting in you qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. Our training programmes give you the opportunity to gain globally-recognised qualifications without going to University. If you currently have a Degree, please direct your application to our ACA Graduate / Trainee Chartered Accountant positions.


We want candidates who demonstrate strong communication skills, who are driven to succeed with a can-do positive attitude and strong work ethic.

All candidates must meet the following criteria points:


Achieved a minimum of 5 GCSE’s or Scottish National 5’s at Grade 5 or Above (Grade C) and this must include Maths and English Achieved already, or be predicted to achieve a minimum of 3 A Levels or Scottish Highers at Grade C or Above Be at least 18 years of age or over by 31 August 2024 Closing date for applications is midnight on Monday 1 April 2024.


Shortly after the above mentioned closing date we will be shortlisting applications based on the criteria set above. If you are successful following the initial application stages, you will be asked to complete an online assessment in order for us to assess your numerical and problem-solving ability. 


Should you then be successful following submission of your application and completion of the online assessment stages, you will then be invited to attend one of our Assessment Centres which will be taking place in May and June. The Assessment Centre will include a full competency-based interview, a paper-based exercise and a group task.
