Sports Graduate - School Sports Coordinator

Location: Failsworth, Greater Manchester

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Graduate to join our team as a School Sports Coordinator. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among our students, organizing sports activities, and contributing to the overall well-being of our school community.

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and lead sports activities and lessons for students across different age groups.

Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation in sports and physical activities.

Collaborate with teachers to integrate physical education into the overall curriculum.

Organize and coordinate intra and inter-school sports events, competitions, and tournaments.

Provide coaching and support to sports teams, helping students develop their skills and sportsmanship.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sports programs and make recommendations for improvement.

Liaise with parents and the wider community to promote the importance of physical education and sports.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field.

Passion for sports and a commitment to promoting physical well-being.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to plan and organize sports activities and events.

Previous coaching or sports coordination experience is a plus.
