We work with local employers in the IT and tech industry to match them to potential apprentices to join their team!

Through our Information Communications Technician Level 3 apprenticeship you will gain on the job knowledge completing duties such as:

Provide 1st line technical support to customers or employees remotely or face to face Configure & setup equipment including onsite installations of computers & network equipment Office 365 console administration: creating new users, closing off leavers, managing quarantined emails

  • Initial troubleshooting of incidents using basic troubleshooting methods
  • Accurate recording of all troubleshooting steps and resolutions
  • Monitor and sustain all operating systems, ensuring their at optimum performance.

Apprenticeship training will be delivered in a classroom environment, from the EMA Derby Hub on Siddals Road, Derby. You will have access to modern, high performance machines, in addition to having the opportunity to explore computer hardware with expert tutors and instructors.
