This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business who are fast establishing themselves as leaders in their field. Spider Group help their clients get the most from their business through technology. They do this through expert IT support, business technology and digital marketing. As long-term supporters of apprentices, they are looking for their newest recruit to support the sales and project teams in this fun and varied role.

Responsibilities

As a Sales and Project Support Apprentice, you will play a vital role in supporting the sales team and ensuring efficient client onboarding processes along with ongoing client support.

This position involves a combination of administrative tasks related to the sales process, client onboarding, project support, and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital projects. Your organisational and communication skills will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and successful project outcomes and supporting ongoing retainers.

What you will learn:

Team:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to support the sales process and ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with project teams to provide project support and facilitate effective teamwork.

Service:

  • Provide administrative support for the sales process, ensuring proposals are timely and accurately prepared.
  • Own the client onboarding process to deliver a seamless experience for clients during project initiation.

Customer:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding process, addressing their inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Support the sales team in understanding and meeting customer requirements through effective communication and administrative assistance.

Partner:

  • Facilitate collaboration and communication between various stakeholders involved in client onboarding, ensuring a cohesive partnership.
  • Coordinate with partners and internal teams to gather information for KPI tracking and reporting.

Process:

  • Manage and optimise the client onboarding process, creating project plans and ensuring efficient communication and coordination.
  • Streamline and improve project workflows by providing necessary administrative support and assistance in project management activities.

Resource:

  • Manage and utilise resources efficiently to ensure timely completion of KPI sheets and other tasks related to the sales and project support.
  • Coordinate with team members to gather required information and data for KPI tracking and reporting.

Technology and Innovation:

  • Leverage technology and productivity tools to enhance administrative processes and improve document quality.
  • Stay updated with relevant technologies and innovations that can optimise sales and project support operations.

Finance:

  • Monitor and manage budgetary aspects related to the sales process, client onboarding, and project support activities.
  • Ensure efficient use of financial resources in KPI tracking and reporting initiatives.

Communication:

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with the sales team, clients, partners, and internal stakeholders throughout the sales and onboarding processes.
  • Communicate project updates, milestones, and key information to relevant teams, fostering a culture of effective communication and collaboration.

Person Specification

  • Strong organisational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Business Administrator Training

During this advanced apprenticeship, you will learn a vast range of knowledge, skills and behaviours, covering topics such as project management, systems & processes, business structures and so much more.

You will undertake the ground-breaking Professional Apprenticeships Digital Marketer Level 3 qualification. Professional Apprenticeships are an Ofsted Outstanding rated training provider and hold the title of Bristol and Bath Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year for 2021.
