Classic Collection Holidays is an award winning successful and profitable tour operator with a 30 year history of providing luxury overseas holidays to the U.K. market. The company has a turnover of around £60m and its team of a hundred or so staff are based at its modern offices in Worthing, West Sussex.

Our Business Trainees generally join our Call Centre initially where they will learn all about the products and the services that we offer along with learning how to provide excellent customer service whilst selling luxury tailormade holidays.During the period of the four-year apprenticeship the Trainee will move round different departments gaining valuable experience in Commercial, Admin, Operations, Finance, Contract Liaison as well as Marketing learning about all aspects of our business which supports their learning.It also helps our Trainees decide what avenue of business they would like to pursue in future.

We seek individuals who have a proactive, can do attitude with a positive attitude to customer service as we pride ourselves on being the best in this area and sets us apart.Experience of working in a customer facing role is ideal but with the right attitude prior experience is not essential.An interest in travel and tourism is required.

Business Trainees are offered an annual salary, participation in the Annual Company Bonus Scheme and the opportunity to earn commission when based in the Call Centre. 20 days holiday per year which increases with service, opportunity to take part in Educationals to resorts and hotels within the Classic Collection Holiday portfolio.

It is our expectation that after completing the apprenticeship the Trainee will want to remain with Classic Collection Holidays and we will do our best to accommodate preferences as to where to work.A previous Trainee who gained a 2:1 decided she wanted to pursue a career in Finance and is now sponsored by the company to complete her professional exams.

Desired skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills, oral and written Be able to work on own initiative and as a part of the wider team Strong customer service skills and awareness

Desired qualifications/ experience:

  • Educated to good GCSE level (Math’s and English essential). Must have strong computer, CRS and administration skills.

 

Future prospects:

A long term career in the travel industry with valuable knowledge gained by working across and in all departments of Classic Collection Holidays Ltd.
