To provide full and comprehensive Administrative Support for the Graduate Employability Team and Internships Co-ordinator, as well as supporting the Rethinking Employability Project.

The Graduate Employability Team supports graduates to identify and secure their career next steps, including work, freelance opportunities or further study. The role holder will be expected act as the first point of contact for email enquiries, undertake event administration, collect data, maintain records and support events and activities.

As administrator to the Rethinking Employability Project the role holder will provide admin support to the Director including diary management, arranging meetings, as well as attending and minuting project board meetings

The role holder will be expected to contribute to excellent service delivery standards by providing information, support and high-quality customer service to colleagues, graduates, external partners and students.

The role holder will also send out communications to graduates via tools such as mailchimp to promote services and increase engagement with the graduate offer.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing mailbox.
  • Responding to graduate queries via email and Moodle, signposting or making referrals as appropriate.
  • Supporting the Project Director of Rethinking Employability in arranging project meetings and providing minuting and general administrative support.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and population of content of Graduate Hub Moodle site.
  • Supporting the monitoring of graduate appointment attendance including collection of attendance data
  • Maintenance of documents and SharePoint
  • Minute taking and meeting preparation/administration.
  • Supporting preparation of resources including job hunting guides.
  • Assisting at events including fairs, networking and graduation activity.
  • Ensuring familiarity with agreed processes and procedures, providing a consistent approach to graduates and colleagues
