Who you’ll be working for:

Our client is looking for an Office Support Apprentice to join their team in Orkney. They support the third sector in Orkney by providing advice, information and practical services.


  • Supporting the wider team with document management using SharePoint to update records, leave notes and save updates
  • Becoming the first point of contact for customer queries and invoicing
  • Assisting with the website maintenance by using the WordPress and Process Wire to build the clients website and maintain the features used
  • Using WordPress to update the website with any new relevant information and link social media campaigns
  • Assisting with social media content through LinkedIn and Facebook
  • Assisting with issuing membership renewal packs and updating contact details with QuickBooks to send invoices to clients
  • Assisting with Orkney Communities membership renewal packs and updating contact details in Quick file (software used to issue Orkney Communities invoices)
  • Managing the Fixed Asset Register for all staff members
  • Utilizing Sales Force to provide collaborative support to employees and clients through the updating the community directory

What do they need from you?

An interest in IT and digital communications


£12,517.71 per annum

Working week:

20 hours per week, Monday to Friday (4 hours per day) - plus overtime


  • 25 days holiday per full calendar year, plus 10 public holidays pro data
  • Employer pension contribution equal to 8% of salary will be paid
