What you will do in your working day

Your training and education will enable you to design mechanical and electrical building services and to carry out dynamic modelling of buildings and their contained building services.

You will be able to make informed engineering decisions and enable our clients to have faith and confidence in your abilities as a designer.

The candidate will carry out the following as part of their apprenticeship:
  • Create Dynamic Simulation Models of building services systems
  • Design mechanical services
  • Size plant
  • Design electrical services
  • Provide detailed design calculations
  • Attend client meetings
  • Carry out surveys and condition reports
  • Provide technical support to the engineering team already in place

As they progress they will enhance the training of other apprentices and more junior members of staff.

Develop the ability to operate in an engineering technical team.
