Based at our premises at Burton Waters, Lincoln you will be work with our helpdesk team to provide telephone, email and remote support to our clients. You'll have the opportunity to work in all areas of the business including; helpdesk, installation, networks, projects, workshop and customer service.

We are looking for a friendly and hardworking apprentice interested in a career in IT to join our team.

Based at our premises at Burton Waters, Lincoln you will be work with our helpdesk team to provide telephone, email and remote support to our clients. You'll have the opportunity to work in all areas of the business including; helpdesk, installation, networks, projects, workshop and customer service.

As an Apprentice Consultant / Developer, your job includes:
  • Working on our helpdesk system to create and update tickets
  • Administer our asset register and keep accurate records of client equipment
  • Work as part of a team to proactively manage and monitor client networks
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets to diagnose and resolve networking issues
  • Assist with installations at client sites
  • Work on upgrades and repairs in our workshop
  • Undertaking practical and structured training to broaden and improve skills
What experience and skills do I need?

You don't need loads of professional experience in IT. However, you'll need at least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above including Maths, English and IT / Science.

We're looking for an IT-enthusiast with:

  • Strong and demonstrable interest in IT and all things techy.
  • You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • You will have a strong work ethic and a friendly personality.
