My client are a specialist staffing company for schools all over the UK. They are now looking for a Finance Apprentice to join their growing accounts team. Responsible to: Finance Manager/Head of Back Office Operations, Deputy: Compliance Manager.

Accounts primary responsibilities:

  • To assist with day-to-day accounts and month end for our staff
  • To update our accounts package with the new school and teacher information on a weekly basis
  • To raise invoices to schools on a weekly basis
  • To request weekly invoices from umbrella companies
  • To chase aged debtors for Coba Education and Coba IT
  • To enter all purchase invoices for Coba Education and Coba IT
  • To assist processing cheques and reconciling the factoring account

Administration primary responsibilities:

  • To administer the Loyalty Scheme for schools
  • Ensure new candidates are fully vetted in line with the company's procedures. Check with DBS, List 99, UK Naric
  • To assist in administering the candidate database. Ensuring candidate information is correctly entered. Archiving relevant candidate'S running annual List 99 and TRN checks
  • Create DBS login for teachers on Personnel Checks and verifying documents
  • To assist with stationery orders
  • To assist with Sainsbury's orders
  • To assist with checking and processing job adverts for Coba Education

Fuse primary responsibilities:

  • Control and code SPLA order monthly
  • Monitor and manage domain name renewals
  • Sales administration tasks such as order acknowledgement
  • Assist in filing and scanning relevant files to SharePoint (support function)
