We are looking for a trainee paraplanner to join Concept Financial Planning; a small, award-winning team, committed to providing a first class service to our clients. Previous experience in financial services required.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching pensions and investments for client reports
  • Prepare information for presentation to clients within a given template
  • Preparation and submission of client applications
  • Liaising with Financial Planners
  • Requesting information from Providers

General tasks:

  • Scan and copy documents when required
  • Scan post and forward to relevant person when required
  • Complete verification checks for clients
  • Handle day to day duties like call answering, emails and correspondence, filing and retrieving information and documents within our CRM

Requirements and prospects Desired skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under own initiative with impeccable attention to detail
  • Good IT skills with a sound knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Some Financial Services experience requiried

  • Enjoys completing projects, researching and teasing out detail
  • Has a willingness to learn
Qualifications required

There are no set entry requirements, however you would be expected to have GCSEs/S Grades (A-C/1-3) in Mathematics and English or equivalents.

Future prospects Once the apprenticeship is completed we would be looking to continue to employee the apprentice in a full time position, continuing with the training towards becoming a recognised, fully qualified Paraplanner.

Things to consider The National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour from April 1st 2017. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job and time spent training.
