Description of Vacancy

Provide support to the downstairs office by carrying out day to day administrative tasks

 

Responsibilities

To answer telephone and pass on to relevant persons

To open post and distribute

To order uniforms and safety shoes as required

To assist with return to work interviews

To assist with filing and organise record keeping

To assist with day to day general administration including HR functions, Finance and IT as appropriate

Sundry purchase orders

 

Wage

£4.75 per hour

 

Hours

Mon-Fri – 9AM-5PM

37.5 hours working week

0.5 hours unpaid break per day

 

Skills Required

IT/computer literate

Good communication skills

Ability to work well on your own or as part of a team

Qualifications Required

A-C in English & Maths

 

Training Provided

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.

Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
