The company require an Apprentice System Engineer to provide remote support to their customer base.
You must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, excellent telephone manner and have a solid understanding of Microsoft products. You will form part of a team that acts as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for customers. Ideally, you will be able to prioritise workload and manage customer expectations.
As part of a new services department the company are looking for an apprentice systems engineer to help on our Microsoft CSP service desk dealing with our customer's inbound enquiries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Dealing with any ticket enquires that has been logged by your customers
- Ensuring that all calls are seen through to completion
- Ensuring that all calls are kept with in SLA's (Service level agreements) and OLA's (organization level agreement).
Knowledge of Microsoft programmesPersonal qualities
- You will have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- An interest in IT is mandatory
- Excellent telephone manner
To be considered for this role, you must have at least a C grade in both GCSE Maths & English, and in three or four other subjects at least. Having completed a level 3 IT apprenticeship would be beneficial.Future prospects You will be working in a new department allowing for the successful candidate, the exciting opportunity to help shape the direction of the department including product verticals. It is expected that a 3 tier support desk will be created with the opportunity to branch out into pre-sales consultancy.
