What you'll be doing:

  • You'll be extracting data from various systems and cloud sources, or APIs through writing and execute code.
  • You'll be cleaning and combining offline, online or mixed sources into reporting and analytical datasets.
  • You'll be using a range of techniques to develop and test hypotheses about how consumers are responding to marketing
  • You'll be performing supervised tasks that contribute to addressing client/planner questions.
  • You'll help the team deliver business recommendations by assisting with results calculations and populating reports and presentations
  • You'll be supporting the build of intuitive Dashboards/Front end website site design
  • You'll help support the team in maintaining existing software and data infrastructure.
Requirements and prospects Desired skills
  • You have good MS Office skills; Excel is particularly important in our work
  • You have experience in coding/programming with some of the following: SQL, R, Python, PHP, Scala, JavaScript, HTML5
  • It would be an advantage to also know/have used cloud technologies e.g. AWS, Hadoop, Hive, Spark
Personal qualities
  • You have done database querying, data reduction and data mining techniques
  • You performed multivariate regression, econometrics, and other statistical techniques
  • You have performed supervised/unsupervised machine learning algorithms
Qualifications required
  • If you have relevant qualifications for the role in areas like Computer Science, Maths/Statistics, Software Engineering, Economics (or similar)
Future prospects 96% of Arch Apprentices move straight into the destination of their choice when they finish their apprenticeship with many seeing their salary go up to £15k-£20k a year immediately post-apprenticeship - £290-£385 a week!

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
