Working in partnership with Camden & Islington NHS Foundation Trust an exciting opportunity has arisen to join WDP and Islington Better Lives as a Healthy Behaviour Apprentice. We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join the Better Lives team.

WDP is committed to providing opportunities for individuals to make positive changes in their lives, through a non-judgemental, recovery based approach that values the strengths and choices of those individuals. We actively promote recovery and work with individuals, those affected by someone else's substance misuse and the local community to improve the health wellbeing and functioning of residents.

The post holder will work within a multi-disciplinary team across the three hubs of the Better Lives service to deliver health related interventions to service users, assessing their lifestyles and wellbeing, setting goals for improving their health, agree action-plans, and provide practical support and information that will help change their behaviour.

This is an apprenticeship position and the successful candidate will be expected to undertake a Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker apprenticeship qualification with our chosen training provider. This will include Math's and English functional skills if you do not possess English and Math's GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent qualification) and the documents to evidence this. The apprenticeship will last 14 to 16 months, (depending on the programme), the successful candidate must be committed to allocating the time required to complete this.
