Front of house supervisor and team leader wanted for popular pub near Polegate. The supervisor will be in charge of a shift and include; making management decisions, problem solving, opening and closing the pub and till and cash handling. You will supervise and organise other employees plus serve drinks and wait on tables.

Full time front of house supervisor/team leader Level 3 Apprentice.

The Sussex Ox is looking for an experienced front of house supervisor to join their friendly and passionate team. All the staff work closely together and there is a happy, friendly atmosphere, which filters down to the customers that they serve on a daily basis.

The successful candididate will work alongside the assistant manager and general manager as a team leader and shift supervisor. This will involve opening and closing the pub, stock control, managing other members of staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and general decision making during service hours.

Due to the location of the pub it is crucial that the candidate is able to drive.

Requirements and prospects Desired skills
  • Excellent Customer service skills.
  • A good knowledge of food and beverages.
  • Some experience in food hygiene and service would be advantageous.
Personal qualities
  • Friendly, outgoing and confident.
  • Excellent personal hygiene and a clean and smart appearance.
Qualifications required
  • Grade D or above in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Full driving licence would be beneficial.
Future prospects A career in hospitality. Management and business skills. Wine, beer and spirits training.
