Train to become a fully qualified paraplanner supporting investment advisors within a successful financial services firm.

An exciting opportunity for the right candidate to have a rewarding career in a longstanding financial services firm.

Paraplanners are growing in number and offer the backbone of financial advice. The trainee paraplanner will learn and implement administration support for financial advisors. This will include the following:

· Collating client information

· Researching investment products to create a suitable recommendation

· Writing letters to clients explaining advisor actions

· Undertaking client review paperwork

· General office duties

· Any other assistance the advisor may require

This role is a gateway into the lucrative financial services sector. Future roles could include fully qualified paraplanner, mortgage advisor, wealth management, banker.

Maths & English GCSE at C or equivalent or above

2 A level's or equivalent at C or equivalent or above

Future prospects Paraplanners are an important part of a successful financial services firm. Pending successful completion of the course there is the possibility of joining the firm on a permanent basis.

Things to consider The National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour from 1st April 2016. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job and time spent training.
