Software Developer Apprentice with some experience in web based development using Microsoft .Net framework and C#. The problems we try to solve often require us to resolve issues with large volumes of data or use other technologies,so adaptability, a willingness to learn, an ability to focus on the detail and a flexible attitude are critical.

Job brief

We are looking for a self-motivated individual, willing to learn on the job, with good problem solving skills and able to take initiative.

The roles will report to senior staff within the team and be based in our offices in Northampton.

Role responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and development of Mapcite software products
  • Undertake software testing of new releases
  • Documentation of development and testing activities and product functionality
  • Assist in the renovation of data
  • Identify opportunities for new products/features/software improvements
  • Contribute to other programs of work as they arise

Person requirements:

  • Appropriate BTech level 3 qualification
  • Ideally previous web development experience using .Net, C#, ASP.Net HTML5,Sql Server
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good personal presentation in line with client dress code
  • Commuting distance to Northampton

  • JavaScript
  • SQL comparison tools and SQL Profiler
  • An understanding of SQL performance issues
  • Knowledge of secure and high performance coding
