Have you an interest in photography and have the ‘can do' attitude needed to drive the business forward?

If so, then you could be an ideal candidate for our growing company as we are looking for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to work within our busy events photography business.

Our ideal candidate will possess an eye for detail/aesthetics, computer literacy and ability to up-sell will be crucial in this role. Any experience of photo editing and a broad knowledge of a variety of sports would be advantageous.

Skills and attributes you are expected to have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills
  • Knowledge of social media - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, blogs, etc
  • Energy, with a desire to come up with ideas on how to grow our online presence
  • Ability to identify a business opportunity and be able to liaise with potential customers
  • Ability to proofread and edit posts
  • Ability to contribute individually and participate in a team

Additional Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Pre-event preparation - preparing stock and checking equipment
  • Event work flow management
  • Retail Display Management - ensuring all photos are well presented in an orderly fashion
  • Post Event Client Donations - compiling donation posters, adding names to team photos, producing a variety of printed and electronic media

You will also be tasked with ensuring a speedy transfer from camera to retail display and, when required, organising school pupils in alphabetical order, checking appearance.

As the role progresses you will be responsible for:

  • Social Media Management - running pre and post event social media engagement to maximise impact on the day and enhance and grow the brand
  • Managing own events - running a sales desk and photography team at a secondary event
  • Managing own unit - managing own events and collaborating on event bookings and business development.

Although the working week is posted at Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, please be aware that due to the nature of the business, working hours will be flexible and weekend and evening work will be required.

As working with children will be required, an enhanced transferable DBS disclosure is advantageous.

Your own transport and a full driving licence would be an advantage, but not essential.

Wage = NAMW £3.50 per hour
