We are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our growing team in Cambridgeshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to build on their current skills and knowledge in a dynamic team environment. You will be working with cutting edge technology and designing innovative and inspiring cloud based solutions.

Within this role, you will be expected to perform a number of tasks including:

  • Supporting the business requirements for the provision of internal applications services.
  • Delivering an effective support and maintenance service for identified business applications.
  • Undertaking the implementation of application development.
  • You must be confident working in an agile environment.
  • Working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Delivering to an exceptional quality standard.
Requirements and prospects Desired skills
  • JavaScript / jQuery
  • HTML /HTML5 / CSS / CSS3 / Bootstrap
  • C# / ASP.net
  • Knowledge of how to optimise websites for different browsers/cross browser compatibility
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstration of development learning/practice outside of education e.g. a Github portfolio.

Qualifications required
  • GCSE Maths and English A-C or equivalent would be desirable

Future prospects On completion of this apprenticeship a full- time role would be offered if the business is in a position to do so.

Things to consider Weekly Wage: The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.50 per hour from 01 April 2017. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus off the job training. Weekly Wage: £3.50 an hour This could increase up to £4.50 an hour dependant on experience. The position will not involve any working away but will involve study for additional Microsoft examinations.
