About Apprenticeships

You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties;

  • Project Management of development of the Baltic Intranet
  • Maintaining the Baltic Intranet and liaising with departmental managers and head of departments to ensure version control of content
  • Develop apps linked to software development courses
  • Mentor learners with extra needs during software development courses
  • Develop support apps for assessors in software development
Requirements and prospects Desired skills
  • Understanding of IT Professional
  • Software Development experience at Level 3
  • Experience working in different social media channels
  • Understanding of Coding languages

Qualifications required
  • BTEC Level 3 or equivalent in Software Development
  • 5 x GCSE's grade A - C or equivalent would be beneficial but not essential
Future prospects Upon completion of this apprenticeship there is the possibility of permanent full time employment with various progression routes.

The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
