Are you looking for an apprenticeship in fashion? We might just have the opportunity for you. Focused around our Buying & Merchandising teams, this programme enables you to work across and alongside a number of teams within the business, whilst liaising with our Design, Garment Tech & Production, giving you the full ASOS retail experience.

The role is administration focussed so would suit someone super-organised with great attention to detail and is looking to kick-start their career in fashion.

The teams you'll work with…

MERCHANDISING: Responsible for financial planning and stock management, our merchandising teams analyse trends and trading patterns to make predictions on future sales and calculate intake and stock requirements to potentialise all opportunities.

BUYING: The Buying team are instrumental in making ASOS the first for fashion. They work closely with a number of areas including Design, Merchandising, Marketing and Garment Technology and have relationships with a wide supplier and brand base to ensure we deliver the best fashion edit across all areas.

What you'll be doing…

  • Analysing sales
  • Managing stock levels
  • Uploading stock onto the ASOS website
  • Supporting with mark down and promotions.
  • Managing samples
  • Assisting in fit sessions
  • Handing over product to the ASOS studio
  • Creating trend packs
  • Prepping for meetings
  • Other ad hoc admin duties as required
  • Attending the Fashion Retail Academy one day each fortnight to study to achieve your Business & Professional Administration Apprenticeship framework.

  • Has previous experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is desired

Qualifications required
  • Has a minimum GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths
  • Is 18 years old or over
  • Is available from September 2017
Future prospects Depending on the performance of the candidate and company vacancies, there may a possibility of a full time post upon completing the apprenticeship.

This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
