Main role/responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Provide support to the Project Managers and co-ordinators
  • Act as a point of contact for Field Service Engineers
  • Provide logistics support during equipment deployments
  • Liaise with our customer base to deliver a quality service

As you progress, you will be required to carry out any of the following varied functions [not limited to]:
  • Work with PMs to generate project plans
  • Update risk and issue logs
  • Record project expenditure & costs
  • Monitor and track activities
  • Take minutes at weekly coordination conference calls with customers
  • Keep daily status reports up to date on current/ongoing projects

As well as working on Customer projects, you will be required to develop competency levels by managing small internal projects, which will allow you to apply the full range of project management methodologies consistent with the APM PMQ skill modules.

Desired qualifications

  • Any A-Level or a level 3 in a similar subject (or equivalent)
  • Or holds an existing project management qualification

Future prospects

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
