You will be invited to Bournemouth & Poole College, North Road, Parkstone, Poole for interview and assessment prior to meeting with the employer.
- Audio type letters, reports and other documents as required by the partners, Practice manager and other team members
- Liaise with hospital and community departments and patients regarding patient care, appointments, etc, incorporating the Electronic Referrals System
- Ensure telephone enquiries are dealt with in a courteous and timely manner and take messages as appropriate
- Code basic clinical correspondence into the patient electronic medical record
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Support the Subject Access Requests process
- Send and receive faxes & Emails
- Undertake photocopying as required
- Filing
- Action tasks as required
Administration Duties
- Participate in providing holiday/sickness cover for scanning, and other admin duties as required
- Admin support to the Practice Manager with various tasks to include filing & recording data in basic spreadsheets
- Input and extract information from Practice computer system
General
- Observe health and safety guidelines at all times
- Any other reasonable duties that may be required from time-to-time
- To promote a professional approach at all times by attire and attitude to patients and staff both in and out of the Practice
- Complete mandatory training in a timely way
- Attend Practice meetings where appropriate
- Apply Practice policies, standards and guidance
- An understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality
