What you will deliver:
In order to successfully complete your apprenticeship, you will undertake a range of duties related to your job as well as undertaking off the job learning
You will work with your line manager and New College to put in place an individual development plan that will help set the course of your apprenticeship, working to the agreed apprenticeship standard. You will undertake training and constructively take part in meetings, supervision and seminars
You will be an excellent team player helping to create a great place for your colleagues (staff and volunteers) to work in.
You will learn about wider work of the trust, its history and conservation values and how this works in practice at your location.
You will comply with procedures to manage risk to yourself, your team, volunteers and visitors.

Things to consider
- Playing a part within the teams for developing software covering a wide range of areas across the business from conservation to retail and membership
- Taking developments, getting them tested and delivering them into operation
- Work as an individual for small works, as part of an internal project team, or working with an outsourced supplier to deliver the solution
- Supporting the teams to turn designs into software solutions
- Those design proposals will need to include all stages of the project lifecycle that are applicable for the solution
- Identify opportunities to use technology to deliver innovative solutions

- Must be able to meet specific entry requirements of the apprenticeship and undertake the studying and coursework required to complete the course and end point assessment
- Previous related technicalknowledge, experience or understanding would be advantageous
- Commitment to completing the apprenticeship and incorporated qualifications
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Good people skills enabling strong relationships externally and internally, to be built and maintained
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Able to follow clear instructions given
- May have some knowledge of relevant Health & Safety

Desired qualifications
- Minimum of GCSE in English and maths A-C or equivalent

- Progression will be National Trust availability at the time of completion of the Apprenticeship

- The site is on the outskirts of the Swindon Designer Outlet, there is a subsidised staff restaurant
- Car parking is available at the outlet carpark at a discounted rate of £1 per day
- Buses from all surrounding areas stop at the Outlet making public transport an easy option
- Successful candidates will have access to the National Trust properties and associated staff discount in the shops
- Work location is the main site, Heelis and Nexus site at Cheney Manor, Swindon
