TShirt Studio is looking for an ApprenticeIT Software Development Developer Level 4. Candidates to havesome basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and javascript.

The company makes personalised garments and gifts for the online market and operates from Fairford in Gloucestershire.

The firm sells to the UK and is now exporting toFrance, Germany and Spain.

It's a great opportunity to work in a fast paced environment within a small, agile development teamwith an expanding marketplace.A sense of humour is an advantage!

Main duties:
  • Playing a part within the teams for developing software covering a wide range of areas across the business from website through manufacturing to despatch.
  • Taking ideas and turning them into production
  • Supporting the team to turn requirementsinto software solutions
  • To learn aboutall stages of the project lifecycle that are applicable for the solution
  • Identify opportunities to use technology to deliver innovative solutions

Desired skills

  • Basic knowledge of web development
  • Coding
  • Any experience in technology and IT would be considered favourable
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Good people and customer service skills enabling relationships to be built and maintained

Desired qualifications

Essential
  • Minimum of GCSE A* - C/9 - 4 in English and maths or equivalent
  • Completion of an A/AS Level or Level 3 ICT qualification or a Level 3 IT Apprenticeship


Future prospects

Fixed Term Contract offered for duration of Apprenticeship = 24 months with opportunity for permanent full time employment upon successful completion and suitability.
