Trax UK are a small, well established Whitstable based IT company with customers all over the country.
The company provides specialist software services for data capture. This forms the basics for examination marking and report generation for multiply markets. Predominantly EDTech to include Tuition centres, Medical schools and Universities.
Other markets include Workforce development and training establishments in the UK
As well as this we also offer a range of other services including bureau, training, printing and consultancy.

As the apprentice, your role will be vital to the smooth running and development of a company which is actively expanding.
You will oversee key tasks including pre-sales mentored by the Sales Manager, and processing orders including product design and production. As you evolve in the role you will also have an opportunity to play a proactive role in company marketing planning

This is a varied role; whilst the main focus is on administration, the successful applicant will also have a unique opportunity to gain some experience in sales and marketing.
Typical duties will include – but are not limited to – the below:
– Processing sales and marketing activities
– Designing, processing and printing forms
-Researching potential customers and populating client lists with relevant data accordingly
– Scanning returned forms and uploading to the system
– Assisting with the creation and development of the website
– Assisting with the creation of videos and other social media promotional content
– Dealing with sales enquiries and processing orders.
£146.25 per week
Monday – Friday 8:30-5pm (with one hour unpaid lunch break)
Due to the nature of the business, the successful applicant should be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of ICT and have good familiarity with Microsoft Office packages.
A basic understanding of website development, Adobe illustrator and Photoshop would be particularly welcome.
The successful applicant will play a key role in a close-knit team, so will be expected to be punctual, able to use their initiative, and above all passionate about the business, with a real drive to learn.
Applicants with a good sense of creativity are welcomed, but this is not essential.
Minimum grade C/4 (or equivalent) GCSE in English and Maths.
Minimum grade C/4 GCSE (or equivalent) in ICT
GCSE in Business would be advantageous
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
The employer has asked that you do not contact them direct. Doing so could jeopardise your application. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work. Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
