Drink Warehouse are a completely independent wholesaler operating throughout Kent 7 days a week; supplying numerous pubs bars and restaurants in the area with all their bar essentials such as beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks all the way to dispense gas and pipeline cleaner.

Description of Vacancy
This is a great opportunity to begin your career in Marketing, or – if you already have a Level 2 or other relevant experience – progress onto a Level 3.
Drink Warehouse UK – an established, independent wholesaler in Thanet – are looking for an apprentice to play a key role within their Marketing & Design Team.
Responsible for a range of duties, you will have a very real scope to make the role your own and contribute towards the ongoing success of the business.
This is a varied and creative role with scope to expand as you develop your knowledge and skills. Tasks will include – but are not limited to – the following:
Designing marketing materials for customers
Management of social media outlets including creating engaging content for public posting
Assisting in the creation of e-marketing
Helping to create and market bi-monthly brochures
Telephoning customers and suppliers to discuss marketing needs
Contributing your ideas towards future marketing strategies within the company
£138.75 per week
37.5 working hours per week:
Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00 (includes half an hour unpaid lunch break)
The successful applicant should have good written skills and basic computer skills. Experience with Adobe suite would be a bonus but is not essential.
We are looking for somebody who is motivated, passionate, and has a real interest in Marketing.
It is essential that the successful candidate is not only a good team-player, but also able to work independently.
Personal Portfolio would be good but not essential.
Minimum grade C/4 GCSE in English and Maths (or equivalent)
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Framework – consisting of the Intermediate NVQ Level, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills if appropriate.
Regular work based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
The employer has asked that you do not contact them direct. Doing so could jeopardise your application. You will be responsible for your travel expenses to and from your place of work. Therefore, you must have the means to get to your place of work on a daily basis whilst waiting for your first wages to be paid.
