Main Duties:

  • To provide total client support from receipt of order through to successful manufacture, delivery and through the warranty period. Report to the Project Manager on a regular basis
  • Liaison with factory to ensure equipment is made to client requirements and timescales. Including assisting in approval of order packages where required
  • To adhere to the Company Health & Safety policy and Quality systems
  • To have an understanding and to maintain Company Standards
  • Carry out detailed handover of client orders with Sales staff/agents on receipt of new orders. Document handover and address any issues that are highlighted. Report detailed outcomes to National Project Manager
  • Ensure all new orders are processed on Navision. Including the breakdown of the order and the predicted invoice values/dates of each project. Monitors invoicing on a weekly basis and ensures invoices are shipped on NAVISION on time
  • Monitors all project spending, with tight cost control. Negotiates with suppliers to ensure margins are maintained or bettered. Has full P & L responsibility for each project and keeps customer concessions to an absolute minimum. Manages and monitors live project margin
  • Attends project sites/customer offices and maintains face to face customer contact wherever necessary, including kick off meetings, project reviews, client witness testing and final accounts meetings
  • Takes ownership of projects allocated to them. Maintains a teamwork philosophy with other departments to facilitate problem solving and provide good customer service
  • Monitor and manages customer invoice queries and work to keep bad debt to a minimum
  • Handle customer complaints quickly and efficiently in line with company policy and procedure
  • Reports Projects updates and status weekly to AHU Project Manager or National Projects Manager. Highlighting risks and offering risk management actions for each case or ask for further guidance
  • Carry out all other tasks related to projects and performs other related duties as assigned or requested

Minimum age: 18

Plus any A Level or a Level 3 in a similar subject

Or holds an existing project management qualification

Future prospects 92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programmes offer on-going development tracks.
