The current National Minimum Wage rates are £4.05 an hour for 16 - 17 year olds, £5.60 an hour for 18 - 20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship(usually one day per week).

    Qualifications required
    • Candidates for the Degree Apprenticeship should have a minimum of 104-112 UCAS points at A2 (Grades BCC) or an equivalent e.g. BTEC DMM.
    • You will also require Maths and English Language GCSE or equivalent, at grade A*-C or grade 4 and above, or equivalent.
    • Previous industry experience, passion and enthusiasm will also be considered if formal qualifications are not held.
    • Candidates MUST produce certificates.
    Future prospects Although there is no guarantee of a position at the end of the degree, we have excellent conversions of apprentices into full-time permanent employment with ourselves, and with other organisations.
