- Through a series of rotations, you'll work in various teams to support the design and planning of a range of highway & bridge maintenance, asset management, and highway improvement projects
- Assist with undertaking site visits, surveys and investigations
- Gain experience in a range of software and digital engineering tools
- Develop a practical understanding of the importance of health & safety and caring for the environment
- Assist with communication to the public and other stakeholders affected by our projects
Requirements and prospects
Desired skills
Essential:
- Studying to achieve or having achieved at least 96 UCAS points (under the new tariff) plus GCSE maths at B/5and English at grade C/level 4 or above (+ at least 2 other GCSEs (or equivalent)at C/4 or above
- Have a keen interest in engineering and/or STEM-related subject
Desirable:
- No previous experience in construction is required but you will want to help us shape the future and build for a better society
Personal qualities
- Someone who enjoys problem-solving and researching innovative ideas
- A good communicator and organiser
Desired qualifications
- 96 UCAS Tariff points (CCC at A level, or equivalent) preferably in Maths or Technical Subjects
- 3 GCSEs at C/4 or above to include English
- 1 GCSE Maths at B/6 or above or equivalent
