Role is a craft apprenticeship. You will spend the majority of your working day working in our modern & expanding machine shop.

As an apprentice in our machine shop you will;

  • Work as part of the team in the machine shop
  • Set & run manual mills /lathes
  • Set / programme / run 5 axis CNC machines
  • Set / programme / run CNC lathes
  • Final assembly / hand finishing
  • Inspection using bore gauges / mics / Vernier’s
  • Hands on approach to learning taking instruction, direction from trainers, supervisors and management
  • Completing college work both inside and outside of working hours

Passes in English language and Mathematics at Grade 4 or above
