    Qualifications required

    Applicants should possess:

    • A minimum of 80 UCAS points (New Tariff System) from at least 2 A-level subjects*, including Chemistry plus another science and/or Maths, plus
    • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) - grades A - C, including Science, Maths and English
    Future prospects On completion of the Apprenticeship, the candidate will have the required skills, knowledge, qualifications and behaviours to apply for a permanent role, subject to company availability. Because of the technical experience you will gain from working in a laboratory, you will gain skills which many graduates have yet to develop. If you have practical ability, ability to solve problems and good communication skills there are opportunities for progression towards higher qualifications.
