Administration Assistant – Job Specification

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to provide assistance to various departments. They will be task-focused and able to process data in an accurate fashion in a quick-moving environment.

MAIN TASKS:

  • Telephone work
  • Use a diary system 
  • Sending and Receiving Emails
  • Postal Duties
  • Filing and maintaining internal documents
  • Using internal computer system
  • Scanning documents
  • Processing proof of delivery notes and driver sheets
  • Assisting the traffic office
  • Development of traffic network
  • Logistical booking for drivers
  • Planning for heavy goods
  • Processing Paper work

  • Seaham Harbour Dock are looking to offer a full time position within the company, for the right candidate, once completion of apprenticeship.

  • Business Admininistration framework qualification  
  • In house training to be provided by the emploter 
  • Functional skills in maths and English to be provided by the training provider
