Responsibilities will include collating and compiling performance data from construction projects and presenting it in reports, case studies and tenders.

Some project data needs to be processed regularly; other data must be collated at the end of the project. Some data is numeric (e.g. time and cost) whilst other data is qualitative info on the 'social value' that the teams have delivered. It must be requested from a variety of staff, including Site Manager, Surveyors, clients and supply chain. This data then needs to be compiled for reports and bids, reviewed internally and externally.

The individual will support Project Managers by providing:
  • Guidance on collecting the right KPI information from the project start-up.
  • Helping plan social value that the projects can deliver in the community.
  • Organising work placements, site visits & community activities as part of social value plans and KPI's.

The individual will support the wider business by:
  • Supporting proposals by completing bid responses for social value questions.
  • Uploading data to internal and external portals.
  • Presenting information in reports and case studies.
  • Representing the business within relevant special interest groups (SIGs).
  • Developing local partnerships with the community, local schools, colleges and charities.

Desired qualifications

  • English and maths Level A to C grades (5 or above) required level or relevant experience of a similar role
  • Minimum of 104-112 points at A2 (BCC) or equivalent

Future prospects

This role will lead to be a career in Social Value, CSR or Sustainability; with a clear career path from Social Value Coordinator, to Manager, Senior Manager, to Head of Social Value. As an adept manager, there is clear opportunity for transfer into a none-social value role.
