Overall responsibility for the management of data within Habinteg and for the analysis of that data to produce key management information to support business decisions and demonstrable improvements in the organisation's performance.

The successful candidate will be required to have advance Excel knowledge and experience in collating and analysing quantitative data. They will have to respond to internal requests for data analysis, developing new reports in Excel.

They will work alongside ICT, Operations and Finance Departments to collect data about housing stock, rents, finances and other information relating to governance and viability.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

Data management
  • Create and extract datasets from the organisation's key databases to support performance information for key performance indicators
  • Responsible for the integrity of those datasets and for identifying and remedying any missing or inaccurate performance data

Performance and management information
  • Devise and design relevant and appropriate standard reports to provide meaningful statistical and performance information on an appropriate frequency basis
  • Ensure any new reports or changes to existing reports meet the requirements of the Operational and Executive Management teams and strategic management reporting.
  • Communicate, liaise and agree findings with key stakeholders
  • Produce, validate and monitor key performance indicators including a monthly corporate scorecard and departmental dashboards
  • Use relevant, best practice, data modelling practices and tools to analyse findings and identify trends and patterns to facilitate strategic and operational improvements
  • Develop predictive analytics to determine patterns and predict future outcomes and trends to improve decision making
  • Create data dashboards, balance scorecard, graphs and visualisations to report performance information in a format appropriate to the audience on a regular and ad hoc basis
  • Prepare quarterly progress reports on the implementation of the corporate plan and annual delivery plan
  • Design and carry out surveys and analyse survey data as required
  • To prepare, submit and provide analysis of the annual Housemark submission
  • Interrogate sector benchmarking data generally to improve understanding of cost and quality performance across the business
  • Prepare and present quarterly value-for-money assessments to the Executive Management Team and the Board

  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Track record of providing performance and other information leading to improvements in performance
  • Good understanding of current technologies, particularly MS Sequel
  • Experience of data migration on system integration projects
  • Experience of manipulating large datasets
