Vacancy description

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to provide assistance to various departments. They will be task-focused and able to process data in an accurate fashion in a quick-moving environment. Duties will include:

  • Making and receiving telephone calls
  • Handling and franking mail
  • Arranging meetings and greeting people who attend the office
  • Office administration including ensuring stock supplies are always kept replenished and filing
  • Copying, scanning and printing documents
  • To support staff with administration and ad-hoc tasks that are required

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • Sound knowledge of IT and the different platforms used within
  • Interpersonal skills 
  • Communication skills – confident both verbally and in written communication  
  • Knowledge in use of outlook/ Microsoft Word

  • Knowledge in use of outlook/ Microsoft Word
  • Energy and drive with a desire to learn and pick up new skills
  • Ability to use your own initiative
  • Strong work ethic, with a desire to do well for themselves
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues 

Desired qualifications

  • A-C GCSE (or equivalent) grades for maths and English are desirable however, not essential for this role

Future prospects

  • Full time employment or higher level apprenticeship once completed the apprenticeship 

Training to be provided

  • Business Admin Level 2 Qualification 
  • In house training to be provided by the employer 
  • Functional skills in maths and English to be provided by the training provider
