Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (Social Change) - Strategy Support Apprentice
As an Organisation Support Apprentice you’ll report to the Head of the Chief Executive’s Office, right at the heart of the organisation, but on a day-to-day basis you’ll be managed by a colleague within the department you’re working in at the time. You’ll rotate around departments such as our Public Sector Partnerships team, Fundraising, Volunteering, Design and Delivery, People and Learning, Marketing and Communications, and Impact and Evaluation.
In each department you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of colleagues to fully understand the purpose and function of the department, and the way it contributes to The Trust’s overall vision and strategic goals. You will play a key role in supporting the translation of our strategic vision into projects, campaigns and wider activities that deliver our strategic intent.
In order to achieve this, you’ll take on a range of tasks, some of which will be specific to the department you’re in. Generally, your responsibilities will include:
- supporting teams with general administrative,
coordination and business process activities
- working closely with and supporting colleagues and teams across The Prince’s Trust to help deliver various projects and programmes
- supporting teams around the organisation to deliver on their targets and objectives to the highest standard
- helping to co-ordinate and deliver projects and campaigns
- identifying processes and procedures which could be streamlined and made more efficient
- reviewing and analysing information and evidence in areas such as performance and impact, marketing, and fundraising – with a view to improving outcomes and impact
- reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of projects and programmes
- communicating effectively with supporters and campaigners to influence and maintain relations
- engaging with the training, onboarding and stewarding of our volunteers to ensure their maximum engagement
- ensuring that all project work undertaken aligns to The Trust’s strategic goals
- seeking feedback and insight from colleagues across The Trust with the aim of improving workplace wellbeing, practice, and culture, and making The Trust a Great Place to Work
- assisting with the preparation of internal communication materials
- supporting with key fundraising projects, events and activities

On completion of your apprenticeship, you’ll be in a very unique position of having detailed knowledge or many areas of the organisation, as well as everything you have learned from your programme.
