What you will do in your working day
As a Nurse Associate you will be responsible for delivering high quality, compassionate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (or other registered care professional dependent on setting) with a focus on promoting health and independence.
The training you will be getting
- Mandatory Training at induction
- On and off the job training
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Successful completion of the programme will lead to registration as a Nurse Associate with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and guaranteed employment as a Band 4 Nurse Associate within the trust subject to successful completion of the course and satisfactory conduct.
We also offer further apprenticeships which would enable you to progress in your career to become a Registered Nurse (level 6 - 2 year degree top-up).

• Assist registered nurses in the on-going assessment, planning, management and evaluation of care. • Provide person-centred care. • Perform and record clinical observations • Ensure the privacy, dignity and safety of individuals is maintained at all times. • Recognise issues relating to safeguarding vulnerable adults and children.
