Start your career within NOV and join us as an Apprentice Engineer. You will use your existing mathematical and technical knowledge as a foundation to build and develop skills critical to becoming a well-trained, experienced and key member of our Plymouth manufacturing team. As an NOV Apprentice you will develop a strong understanding of manufacturing processes including practical fabrication skills. Apprenticeship Development Plan

Your Apprenticeship Development Plan will start at our Pipex Manufacturing site where you will firstly and most importantly become part of our team. You will gain your initial understanding of our business processes - taking part in a rotational plan moving throughout our different departments. Starting with our Sales Team, you will see the lifecycle of our products right through to the completion and shipping of a manufactured component ready to be used in extreme subsea conditions.

Your hands-on academic training plan is where learning and development really begins. You will take part in a 3 year training plan where NOV will monitor your progress, supporting and guiding you to become a successful and first class Engineer.

On completion of the first year, you will return to work and attend college on a day release basis to progress your theory knowledge of fabrication to Level 3. At the same time you will undertake your NVQ L3 in the workplace with a college Assessor visiting on a regular basis. Completion of this stage leads to the award of an Advanced Apprenticeship.

• Find alternative solutions to problems as a means to successfully deliver fully manufactured components
• Manage responsibilities according to the manufacturing schedule and timeframes
