The right candidate will support colleagues in dealing with all enquiries in relation to the day to day running of the business and general office duties. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Answer incoming telephone calls from customers and clients (must have a good telephone manner)
- Follow up calls' from clients and candidates
- Assist with any administrative duties i.e. photocopying, scanning and uploading
- Creating documents (candidate must have experience or knowledge in Excel, Outlook and Word)
- Registering candidates on courses
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Time conscious and punctual
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- A good standard of mathematics, English language and literature
- Basic Computer Literacy
- Polite manners with good customer relations
- Good administrative skills and excellent attention to detail
- Attentive with the right attitude and behaviors
Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 7.5 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course. Apprenticeship courses are developed by employers and professional bodies, ensuring apprentices study a curriculum that is tailored to real-world job roles. All our courses are accredited by an authorised awarding body or the Institute of Apprenticeships, guaranteeing you work towards an approved, professional certificate. Completing an apprenticeship will help you develop the knowledge and skills required to excel in your chosen career, providing a concrete foundation for future growth. Apprenticeship courses available: Level 2/3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard Course information: Business Administrator Level 2/3.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week from 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday with half an hour hour lunch break and two fifteen-minute breaks.
We are looking for candidates that are flexible.
There will be a practical element to the interview stage(s) which will include; creating an Excel spreadsheet, inputting relevant information, filtering spreadsheets, photocopying and scanning documents and a mock telephone conversation.
