1. Indirect Purchasing
- SAP - Check and release new purchase orders to ensure accuracy for accounts. Also maintain existing purchase orders, create/maintain price records, create/maintain source of supply records and create new supplier records
- Sourcing - Identify sources for non-standard consumable items & negotiate terms
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs/improve processes in existing indirect material supply
- Reporting - Periodically run reports e.g. overdue orders/spend and extrapolate data
- Project - Cost Reduction Project - Commodity to be defined
- Cross functional/cultural environment, regularly interacting internally/externally
- Dealing with Incorrect Deliveries & Delivery Returns
2. Direct Material Purchasing
- Reporting weekly delivery performance of component suppliers
- Liaise with Quality Department regarding outstanding ISIR from suppliers
- Price file maintenance to ensure efficient invoice processing and minimised transaction costs
- Creation of purchasing views in SAP for new components and strategic supplier changes
- Managing supplier shutdown (collating information, contacting all direct material suppliers)

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Good written and numerical skills
- IT knowledge, including e-mail, Word, Excel (SAP Desirable)
