What you will do in your working day

Dealing with all aspects of council tax billing, collection and enforcement and working with the benefits team processing housing benefit/council tax support assessments.

Day to day support, administration and dealing with enquiries from the public, colleagues and external organisations by phone, letter, e-mail and face to face interview.

Maintaining and developing a thorough and up to date knowledge of revenues legislation and procedures and local guidance.

The training you will be getting

The 2 year Apprenticeship will see you working towards and achieving the Revenue and Welfare Benefits Practitioner - level 4 qualification through a practical based work scheme that allows you to learn, work and obtain a nationally recognised qualification at the same time.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Subject to recruitment needs and successful completion of the Apprenticeship this could lead to a position within the Revenues and Benefits Department.
