We help our clients to pursue a data-driven strategy, through implementation support and project-based analytics, offering impactful insight and support to their decision-makers. The ideal candidate will relish an energetic environment and be passionate about their own development.
We work with a range of businesses from young and fast-growing owner-managed businesses with leading edge IT and data infrastructure through to large, well-established multinationals. This varied experience will allow the successful candidate to gain exceptional insight into the desire for data-driven decisions specific to each of these contexts, and to support strategic decision-making in a range of settings.
Are you:
You will work with an enthusiastic and professional data analytics team committed to delivering exceptional service to clients.
You will be assisting our senior analysts and data scientists in supporting our clients' data-driven strategies while studying and engaging in training on the various tools, techniques and concepts in the industry. You will be moving from project to project, problem to problem, continually facing new challenges and shaping your skills and methods to the client at hand in order to bring commercial value.
You will obtain, clean, analyse and delve into datasets of a vast range of quality and suitability from a vast range of clients, to help drive them towards realising a data-driven business strategy and to uncover valuable insights relevant to the context of their businesses.
The data problems to be solved will be varied and evolving, and will require a spectrum of database querying skills (e.g. SQL and via API), data mining skills (implemented in Python or other preferred programming languages), dashboard building/visualisation skills, and predictive modelling skills (using appropriate machine learning tools and techniques).
To be considered a candidate for this role, initially you will not be expected to be experienced in any or all of these techniques. You will be provided with the appropriate training in order to implement these and other necessary analytical techniques over time.
