Duties to include:

Executive duties:
  • Build mobile multimedia tours and demos for our MediaPacker, MPTI and MPI devices using our in-house and proprietary TourBuilder framework and software suite
  • Upload tours and demos to devices using our in-house and proprietary Upload software
  • Update devices to the latest specification of the Tech department
  • Do testing of tours and demos, reporting key findings and debugging any issues found
  • Filename large quantities of files with given naming conventions using off-the-shelf file-renaming software
  • Publish UI designs to given specifications using Adobe CC programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Edit videos and create slideshow animations using Adobe CC programs (After Effects, Adobe Premiere)
  • Compress video and audio files to device specifications
  • Subtitle videos for mobile tours using our in-house and proprietary software
  • Document tour structure in given templates, including technical spec sheets, and tracklist documents for data collection and analysis
  • Manage UK device repairs for UK client sites
  • Help with on-site installation or upload of devices when needed
  • Maintain in-house stock of devices in good health, documenting incoming and outgoing devices, and uploading the latest tours and demos for Marketing purposes

To undertake additional work as required:
  • Play a full part in the team to help address the needs of the business as they arise
  • Offer constructive solutions to problems and issues, or opportunities, as they arise
  • Undertake additional relevant background research tasks when requested to do so
  • Undertake any other tasks requested of him by his Manager from time to time

Training to be provided:

We will provide training in all our in-house and proprietary technologies. These include:
  • The TourBuilder framework and software suite for building mobile multimedia tours. This includes both naming conventions for manually filenaming media files and building tours, as well as software tools like PageBuilder, Preview, List and Map for automatically generating tour files
  • The Upload software, for uploading content to devices
  • We will provide training in prepping, updating and troubleshooting all our devices
  • We will provide guidance in publishing content for devices and video editing


Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

  • IT literate, Windows and Android user
  • Proficient in using numbers and sequences
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop (Illustrator and AfterEffects or Premiere a bonus)
