This is a varied role that requires accuracy and flexibility. The perfect candidate will be resourceful, confident and friendly with good organisational skills. We are looking for an individual who has prior knowledge of WordPress and has a keen interest to learn and develop new skills.

The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
- Writing code in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as WordPress, HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL
- Deciding on the best technologies and languages for the project in hand
- Testing sites and applications in different browsers and environments
- Problem solving
- Fixing bugs in existing projects
- Testing new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all cases
- Running performance benchmarking tests
- Building and testing Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for applications to exchange data
- Collaboratively work with designers, developers and project staff for progress updates
- Gathering requirements from clients and users
- Staying up to date with new trends and advancements in web development
- Building and maintaining databases
- Refactoring and optimising existing code
- Support with the roll out of Globalised sites
- Editing and Fixing code for clients
