Your Opportunity:

St. James's Place Wealth Management (SJP) operates an annual Apprenticeship programme.

This apprenticeship is for a Junior Software Developer within Rowan Dartington IT department.
  • The role will consist of working alongside Rowan Darlington's IT Development and Finance Management Reporting teams to fully understand the role each area has within the business and how data is managed and used
  • From gathering and understanding requirements through design and build to user acceptance test and production, you will be involved in the full software lifecycle of our systems
  • You will be exposed to the latest cloud-based services and will have the opportunity to support, maintain and migrate legacy & heritage applications and services

Along with an attractive salary, we will also fully support you with an apprenticeship qualification.

By entering into an 'Apprenticeship Contract' with St. James's Place, our apprentices receive a comprehensive training programme and on the job training to develop their soft skills. This enables them to quickly gain the necessary experience and know-how to add real value and, in turn, establish a true sense of achievement. In addition to this all Apprentices will be supported to achieve their Duke of Edinburgh Gold award as part of the Apprenticeship programme.

About You:

We are looking for apprentices with a demonstrable and genuine interest in technology, great communication skills who can balance personal confidence and ambition with teamwork and humility. You will have a professional, positive and conscientious attitude, and have a strong desire to make a successful career in Technology.
